BUSINESS
The basic documentation required to apply for a business visa is as follows:
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry into the country, and at least one blank page (two sides) available.
- Fully completed Visa Application Form in all fields (preferably electronically), without amendments or erasures, and signed (electronic or photocopied signatures are not accepted). The mentioned form can be downloaded here.
- One (1) recent passport-sized photo, 4x4 cm, color, facing forward, with a white background.
- Invitation letter in paper or electronic format:
A) PAPER FORMAT: Original invitation letter in Spanish from the company, organization, or individual based in Argentina registered in the National Unique Registry of Foreign Applicants (RENURE), requesting the applicant(s) and indicating the purpose of the trip, its duration, name, address, and contact information of the individuals in Argentina. The letter must have the company or organization's logo, RENURE number, be signed by an authority of the company or organization, certified by an Argentine notary public, and legalized by the College of Notaries.
When dealing with legal entities, the notary public will not only certify the signature of the authority but also their powers to act on behalf of the inviting company or institution.
B) ELECTRONIC FORMAT: Individuals duly registered in RENURE who wish to invite personally or individuals inviting on behalf of a legal entity (company, institution) duly registered in RENURE, with AFIP fiscal code level 2 or higher, have the option to process the invitation letter remotely (TAD). - Documentation verifying the commercial/labor activity in the country of origin (e.g., work certificate on the company letterhead, commercial references, company constitutions, certification of the company's existence, etc.).
- Proof of immigration status in the United States (if applicable).
- Flight reservation.
- Hotel reservation.
- FEE: The cost of the visa is U$S 200 and can only be paid by U.S. "money order" from USPS payable to "Consulado General de Argentina en Miami." Cash, checks, or "money orders" other than those from USPS will not be accepted. Business visas are free for nationals of India and Morocco.
