TOURISM
The basic documentation required to apply for a tourist visa is as follows:
- Passport with a validity of at least 6 months. The passport must have at least one completely blank page for visa stamping.
- Visa application form duly completed in all fields (preferably electronically), without amendments or erasures, and signed (electronic or photocopied signatures are not accepted). The mentioned form can be downloaded here.
- One (1) recent passport-sized photo, 4x4cm, color, white or light blue background, without glasses.
- Flight reservation (round trip).
- Proof of immigration status in the United States (permanent residency card or passport with valid U.S. visa).
- Proof of financial solvency (latest pay stubs, last credit card statement, and last bank account statement). Please verify that the documentation to be submitted contains the following information: current date, visa applicant's details (name/surname), and an amount available according to the requested stay.
- Hotel reservation and tourist itinerary. In case of not having a hotel reservation, and if there is an invitation from an individual, a letter of invitation must be presented.

No letter of invitation will be required when the applicant is a parent, child, or spouse of an Argentine citizen and the Argentine citizen is the inviter. This must be evidenced with the original birth/marriage certificate and its corresponding apostille.
- Fee. The cost of the tourist visa is U$S 150 and can only be paid by U.S. "money order" from USPS payable to "Consulado General de Argentina en Miami." Cash, checks, or "money orders" other than those from USPS will not be accepted.
